CSPC’s ORSEM 2025: Igniting the Flame of CSPCean Culture
Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) recently welcomed its freshmen and transferees with a two-day Institutional Orientation Seminar, aptly themed “Igniting the Flame of CSPCean Culture: Guiding New Journeys Toward Brilliance and Belonging.” Held on July 31 to August 1, 2025, at the CSPC Gymnasium, the event marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the new students.
Highlights of the Orientation
The orientation was divided into two days, each with its own set of informative sessions. On the first day, students gained insights into the institutional overview, student support, scholarship, and services. The top-performing applicants were also recognized and awarded, with Lei Carmel Santos from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing taking the overall top spot.
On the second day, students participated in orientations on library services, gender and development, safety and security, student discipline, NSTP, academic policies, and guidelines. A campus tour was also conducted, allowing students to familiarize themselves with the facilities.
College ORSEM 2025
Following the institutional orientation, the College ORSEM 2025 will take place from August 4 to August 8, 2025. Each college will have its designated day and venue, including the CSPC Gymnasium, CSPC Auditorium, and CSPC Buhi Campus Ground. To promote unity and college identity, students are advised to wear the prescribed shirt colors based on their respective colleges:
- Buhi Campus: Pink
- College of Arts and Sciences (CAS): Red
- College of Computer Studies (CCS): Yellow
- College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA): Gray
- College of Health Sciences (CHS): Purple
- College of Teacher Education (CTDE): Blue
- College of Tourism, Hospitality, and Business Management (CTHBM): Green
