CSPC’s College of Computer Studies and SHELF Celebrate 22 New Licensed Librarians
The halls of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), particularly the College of Computer Studies (CCS), are filled with immense pride and celebration as we honor the outstanding achievement of our Library and Information Science (LIS) graduates. We are thrilled to announce that 22 brilliant CSPCeans have successfully passed the September 2025 Librarians Licensure Examination!

This remarkable accomplishment was officially announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), with the examinations held in Legazpi and Manila. Our graduates have once again demonstrated the exceptional quality of education and rigorous training provided by the LIS program under the College of Computer Studies.
CSPC proudly registered an institutional overall passing percentage of 59.46%, a testament to the dedication of our students, the unwavering support of the faculty, and the institution’s commitment to producing competent and globally competitive information professionals.
This success is not just a personal victory for the passers but also a shared triumph for the Society of Holistic and Empowered Librarians of the Future (SHELF). As the official student organization for LIS students, SHELF has been instrumental in fostering a supportive community, organizing review sessions, and providing academic encouragement that has undoubtedly contributed to this success.
The entire CSPC community, led by our college officials and the faculty of the College of Computer Studies, extends its warmest congratulations to our new Registered Librarians (RL):
