Team iNVEX Earns Honourable Mention at the Bett Asia Schools Challenge 2026 in Kuala Lumpur
Team iNVEX of the College of Computer Studies (CCS), Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), has received the Honourable Mention award at the Bett Asia Schools Challenge 2026 under the 17+ / Higher Education category. The competition formed part of Bett Asia 2026, held on September 23 to 24, 2026, at the Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
About Bett Asia 2026
Bett Asia is a two-day event that serves as the regional meeting place for the education community. The 2026 edition brought together 1,500 educators and policymakers and more than 90 innovative education technology companies to connect, collaborate, and earn accredited continuing professional development training.
The Schools Challenge is one of the featured programs of the event. It is sponsored by Google for Education, which provides the technological platform and tools for the challenge, and is delivered in partnership with Wavenet Education, which provides specialized education technology training and implementation support
The Road to the Finals
Our team was selected as one of only three finalists in the 17+ / Higher Education category of the Schools Challenge. The selection gave the team the opportunity to present their project live at Bett Asia on September 24, 2026.
The Schools Challenge 2026 finalists across all categories included institutions from the Philippines and Malaysia:
- Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, Nabua, Camarines Sur, Philippines
- National University Las Piñas, Las Piñas, Metro Manila, Philippines
- St. Bridget College, Batangas City, Philippines
- University of the Assumption, San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines
- SK Putrajaya Presint 11(1), Putrajaya, Malaysia
- UCSI College, Malaysia
The Live Pitch and Awards Ceremony
On the day of the finals, the finalist teams checked in at the Mandarin Oriental and were given a dedicated space to prepare away from the exhibition floor. The live pitches took place on the Classroom Theatre Stage from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM, where Team iNVEX presented their solution before an audience of educators, policymakers, and industry experts. The awards ceremony followed from 3:15 PM to 3:50 PM.
At the ceremony, Team iNVEX was named a Schools Challenge 2026 winner with the Honourable Mention distinction and was presented with a commemorative plaque from Bett Asia, Google for Education, and Wavenet Education.

The team was mentored by Ms. Tiffany Lyn O. Pandes, whose guidance supported the students from the submission of their entry through to the live presentation in Kuala Lumpur.
A Milestone for Our College
This recognition reflects the talent, competence, and innovative spirit of our students in computer studies and engineering. It also demonstrates the value of collaboration across disciplines, as students from two programs worked together to develop and present a solution on an international stage.
